St. Bridget Food Pantry

“For I was hungry and you gave me food, I was thirsty and you gave me drink.”  -Matthew 25:35

St. Bridget helps feed our neighbors through our food pantry, and we need your help to keep up the great work! There are so many different ways to help within this ministry.

Do you need help feeding your family?

Times have been rough on many people, and we are here to help! Please visit us on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of each month between the hours of 4:00pm and 6:00pm. Our pantry is located inside of our Parish Center; however, we are only offering a drive up pantry option at this time. If you have never been to our pantry, please bring a form of identification with you the first time you visit. We have many wonderful volunteers ready to assist you.

Would you like to donate to the Food Pantry?

We greatly appreciate food items, especially canned fruits and vegetables, tuna, peanut butter, rice, beans, and cereal.  Fresh fruits and vegetables are welcome on the day of the pantry (the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month). Also welcome are personal care items such as soap, deodorant, toilet paper, diapers (especially sizes 3-5), feminine care items, dish soap, laundry soap, toothpaste, toothbrushes, hair care products, and razors.

Are you able to donate your time to the Food Pantry?

Check out the following volunteer opportunities and see if one is right for you!

Pantry Setup Team:

Volunteers are needed to help get ready for pantry each Wednesday the week before food pantry distribution days. Volunteers gather at 5:00pm.

Pantry Baggers

Volunteers are needed to help bag the groceries for distribution. Baggers work each Thursday before distribution days from 9:30-11:30am. Workers need to be able to stand and work, lift a box of food, and do it with great JOY!

Pantry Distribution:

Food pantry distribution days, 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of each month, begin with set up from 9:30-11:30am. While one group goes to the Food Bank to pick up bread and other items for distribution, another group set up tables and bring items out for distribution.

Volunteers are also needed from 3:00-6:30pm to welcome guests, assist them in getting their food, and help them to their car. We need willing and joyful spirits who can walk a lot and lift at least the weight of a bag of groceries.
