Catechists are volunteers in the Family Faith Formation Religious Education program who give a few hours a month to help lead others on their journey of learning about our wonderful Catholic faith. Catechists come from many different professions and backgrounds, but all have the same focus and goal to share the faith with families and children of our Church. Many opportunities are offered throughout the year for catechists to acquire certification and obtain Safe Environment Training. Tuition is waived for the children of those who serve in the following roles.

Classroom Teachers are needed for the twice monthly classes on Sundays for the children. Materials are available to help you with lesson preparation for leading the classes.

Classroom Aides are needed for the twice monthly classes for the children. Aides assist the classroom teachers. We welcome teens to join us in being an aide. Teens can receive service hours for assisting in the Family Faith Formation program.

Adult Facilitators are needed during our Family Faith Formation sessions one Sunday a month. Facilitators assist the parents of our faith community by helping to lead discussions while getting to know our parish family and growing in faith together!

Volunteers are always needed and appreciated in the Family Faith Formation Religious Education program. Training is provided as needed, depending on the volunteer task.
