Summer Study Series

Stepping into the Mystery: Jesus Christ, True God and True Man

Join Seminarian Ian Ordoñez each Thursday in July for a 4-part simple and interactive study of the Church’s teaching and thinking of Jesus Christ so as to bolster one’s sacramental understanding of Jesus Christ’s real presence in the Eucharist. Please bring your Bible. We will have some on hand if you don't have one. For your convenience, each class will be available in a morning session (9:00-10:00am) or an evening session (6:30-7:30pm). The studies will take place in the Parish Center, Room C.

Class 1 (Thursday, July 7th) His Incarnation
This class will study who Jesus Christ is in history and in the life of the Church.

Class 2 (Thursday, July 14th) His Life and Ministry
This class will dive into the life and ministry of Jesus Christ and their implications on the life of the Church.

Class 3 (Thursday, July 21th) His Passion, Death, and Resurrection
This class will explore the intricacies of the Paschal Mystery (the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus) in the life of the Church.

Class 4 (Thursday, July 28th) His Most Blessed Sacrament, the Eucharist
This class will take the material from the previous three classes and synthesize it into a cohesive understanding of the real presence of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
