Parish Mission Recap

Parish Mission—Eucharistic Revival!
“I have earnestly desired to eat this meal with you” (Luke 22:15)

Pope Francis recently reminded us of how much God desires to come to us and strengthen us in the Holy Mass. We will seek to grow deeper in our understanding and love for the Mass in order to see more clearly how God come to us intimately and profoundly each time we worship Him in the Eucharistic liturgy.

Our mission speaker was Fr. Jon Bakkelund, Director of the Office of Divine Worship for the Diocese of Rockford and Chair of the Eucharistic Revival in the Rockford Diocese. Ordained in 2011, he is currently the pastor of St. Peter Parish in Geneva, IL.

Recap of the Parish Mission recordings is available below.

Day 1 - “What Happens at Mass? God is Working”

Day 2 - “How can I get more out of Mass? Pro Tips for a better Eucharistic Experience”

Day 3 - “Who’s NOT at the Table? The Mass as a tool for Evangelization”
