What is Confirmation?

Confirmation is one of the Sacraments of Initiation (along with Baptism and Eucharist). While it is the end of initiation, Confirmation is never really meant to be an ending, but the start of something new. It is a kind of personal Pentecost, a fresh outpouring of the Holy Spirit in our hearts that makes us doers of the Word of God, not hearers only. Confirmation completes the good work that was begun in Baptism and that is continually strengthened in receiving the Eucharist.

Celebrating Confirmation?

We offer different Confirmation programs at St. Bridget. Look through the options and select which one applies to you or your child.

Youth Confirmation is intended for those in 8th Grade and any High School students who would like to receive confirmation. If you have any questions, contact Mary Henson mhenson@stbridgetlovespark.org.

Adult Confirmation is intended for adults who have received the sacraments of Baptism and Eucharist, but have never received Confirmation. If you have any questions, contact Deacon John Gibson rcia@stbridgetlovespark.org
